Welcome to your first funnel build with Funnel System Pro.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to:
- Create a new funnel
- Add funnel steps
- Configure lead forms
- Customize the design
- Publish your funnel live
By the end of this guide, you’ll have a fully working funnel running on your WordPress website.
WHAT WE’RE BUILDING
For this tutorial, we’ll create a simple lead generation funnel.
The funnel will:
- Welcome the visitor
- Ask a few questions
- Collect lead information
- Display a result or thank-you screen
This type of funnel works great for:
- Contractors
- Agencies
- Coaches
- Local businesses
- Service providers
- Consultation booking
STEP 1 — CREATE A NEW FUNNEL
Inside WordPress, go to:
Funnel System Pro → Funnels
Click:
Add New Funnel
You’ll now enter the Funnel Builder interface.
STEP 2 — NAME YOUR FUNNEL
Enter a funnel name.
Example:
Home Renovation Estimate Funnel
The name is used internally inside WordPress and can be changed later.
STEP 3 — CONFIGURE THE WELCOME SCREEN
The Welcome Screen is the first thing visitors see.
Add:
- Headline
- Subheadline
- Button text
- Background image
- Optional slideshow images
Example headline:

Example button text:
Start Your Estimate
Keep the messaging:
- clear
- simple
- action-oriented
STEP 4 — ADD FUNNEL STEPS
Now it’s time to create your questions.
Funnels work by guiding visitors through multiple steps.
Example steps:
Step 1
What type of project do you need?
Options:
- Kitchen Remodel
- Bathroom Remodel
- Flooring
- Painting
Step 2
What is your estimated budget?
Options:
- Under $5,000
- $5,000 – $15,000
- $15,000 – $50,000
- $50,000+
Step 3
When would you like to start?
Options:
- Immediately
- Within 30 Days
- Within 3 Months
- Just Researching
STEP 5 — ADD A LEAD FORM
Near the end of the funnel, enable lead capture.
This allows visitors to submit:
- Name
- Phone number
- Project details
Typical lead form fields include:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Message
Lead information is automatically stored inside the Funnel System Pro CRM.
STEP 6 — CONFIGURE EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS
Open:
Funnel Settings → Notifications
Add the email address where leads should be sent.
Example:
you@yourwebsite.com
When someone completes the funnel:
- the lead is stored in CRM
- email notifications are sent automatically
STEP 7 — CUSTOMIZE THE DESIGN
Open the Design Settings section.
You can customize:
- colors
- typography
- buttons
- spacing
- progress bars
- backgrounds
- visual themes
Funnel System Pro includes multiple visual themes for different styles and industries.
STEP 8 — CONFIGURE THE RESULT SCREEN
The Result Screen appears after completion.
You can:
- display a thank-you message
- show estimated pricing
- offer consultation booking
- redirect users
- display custom recommendations

Example message:
Our team will contact you shortly with your estimate.
STEP 9 — SAVE YOUR FUNNEL
Click:
Save Funnel
Always save after major changes.
STEP 10 — PUBLISH YOUR FUNNEL
After saving, Funnel System Pro generates a shortcode.
Example:
[funnel_system_pro id="123"]
You can place this shortcode:
- on pages
- inside Elementor
- inside Gutenberg
- in popups
- on landing pages
STEP 11 — TEST YOUR FUNNEL
Before going live:
- complete the funnel yourself
- test on mobile
- verify emails are sending
- confirm leads appear in CRM
- check button spacing
- review loading speed
Testing is extremely important for conversion-focused funnels.
